Dj Jaguar is an individual artist who creates music using her own vocals, blending genres from country to R&B, rap, and funk. With an impressive 28 years of experience in the Dance industry, she has honed her unique sound and style, making her a versatile performer. Beyond her musical talents, Dj Jaguar has dedicated 12 years to teaching dance for free in the Aotearoa community, showcasing her commitment to building and nurturing the talents of others. Her passion for music and community shines through in everything she does, as she continues to inspire and uplift those around her.

Our sound is a fusion, just like our roots. Growing up immersed in Polynesian Maori arts alongside Latin American ballroom, contemporary jazz, and rock n roll, our heart always beat closest to rap and hip-hop. This rich background, combined with 28 years of dance experience and learning turntables from Aotearoa's top world DJs in 2017, informs every set we play. We bring a unique energy born from a diverse musical upbringing.

Meet DJ Jaguar: A Passionate Community Leader
For 12 years, DJ Jaguar has dedicated herself to running free community events without the support of government funding. Driven solely by her passion for connecting people and fostering creativity, she has made a significant impact in her community. Now based in Australia, DJ Jaguar is one of the co-founders of Cub Gang ( named by Jay ), alongside Baby Mama Cree and Royalty, who gained a solid community on TikTok. Originally known as Cub Club this vibrant group continues to thrive, bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds and promoting a sense of belonging. DJ Jaguar’s commitment to her vision remains unwavering, as she strives to create inclusive spaces where everyone can come together to celebrate the community spirit.
